During the summer vacation, my parents and I traveled to Canada on the other side of the ocean.
Friends who have been to Canada say that Banff National Park is the most magnificent. When you come here, you will be amazed by the towering snow-capped mountains and the crystal-clear lake. On the first day, I was so excited that I visited many scenic spots; on the second day, I started climbing mountains, tasting delicious food, and experiencing various small town customs; on the third day, I found that all the lakes I visited were all snow-capped mountains and lakes, as if they were copied and pasted. Pushing aside the reeds, I suddenly found that this scene seemed a little different, and my views on the landscape seemed to have disappeared a little bit. Facing the lake, I suddenly found several people "walking" on the water. My curiosity immediately pushed away most of the disappointment of the scenery. Squinting my eyes, I noticed that they were taking off their shoes and walking in the lake, and an impulse arose in my heart to go down and play. So, I, who was feeling depressed a second ago, changed my sandals and jumped down.
I carefully put my feet into the lake. A cold feeling spread all over my body, and I continued walking with a little excitement. I feel the water gently caressing my calves; the sand gently rubbing my toes; and the wind gently blowing by my ears. I continued to explore step by step, sometimes groping for a small stone in the water, looking at it for a long time, throwing it into the distance with all my strength, and watching it splash with waves of water; sometimes I picked up a small branch that had just drifted by on the water, dipped it in a few drops of lake water, and bounced it down, watching the small water droplets fly. In all directions, large and small ripples rippled; sometimes I bravely stretched out my hand to touch a few ducks swimming by. The fluffy, wet feathers and their cheerful responses gave me great satisfaction; sometimes I held the lake water with my hands, looked at it carefully, and opened my palms to watch them fall back into the lake. Gradually, my courage began to grow. I strode in the lake, splashing water one after another. I found another place that I thought was safe and jumped in the water...
Unconsciously, I had reached the center of the lake and the water was up to my knees. I stopped and stood in the center of the lake for a long time, looking at the mountain - this mountain was different from before, it was undulating, and the white snow seemed to be its beautiful veil; look at the water - the water was like a piece of emerald, with a light green color scattered by the reflection of the sun; and look at the people around me - everyone was laughing and playing in the water like me. Everything here makes people feel extremely happy.
I returned to the shore full of joy, my feet were frozen, but compared to the beauty of the landscape and the joy of playing, what is this?
In this mountain and in this water, I found the carefree feeling of my childhood...
